The Ice Rink Managers Association was established in 1967
to provide ice rink operators with a meeting forum.
Originally 15 UK ice rinks were members, now over 75% of the ice rinks
in the United Kingdom are members of the association.
These are just some of the aims of I.R.M.A:
To standardise Health & Safety
To set standards
To work closely with the Health & Safety Executive
To publish a Good Practice Guide
To work closely with the National Ice Skating Association (NISA)
To co-ordinate promotional activities
To meet formally each quarter
To exchange trading position with members
To share good practice
